the call to chaplaincy » |

The military chaplaincy is a unique ministry of presence. A chaplain first must become a soldier in order to minister the soldier. Chaplains provide the sacramental lifeline to all Catholics in the Military.
In accord with the
Commendation of Military Chaplains, (SEC. 1069) of the
Congressional Defense Authorization Bill
which passed 12July02, CatholicMil recognizes that "military chaplains must, as never before, deal with the spiritual well-being of the members of the Armed Forces and their families."
