The public, especially men and women in uniform and their families, is welcome to this 3 pm Mass in the Basilica of the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg, MD. The Seton Shrine and the Daughters of Charity welcome you to the Annual Pilgrimage for the Sea Services — Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine. Proclaimed as "Patroness of the Sea Services" for Catholic men and women in uniform, Mother Seton was linked to the Navy through her two sons. Sponsored by the generosity of a committee of mainly retired Naval officers and their spouses, and the Archdiocese for the Military Services, the Mass is highlighted by the Presentation of the Colors and the music of the Naval Academy Catholic Midshipmen Choir from Annapolis.
